VOLUNTEER
In As Sakinah Foundation, we welcome everyone who is interested to meet our children and work together with us. We are very much need of volunteers from all age and nationalities to help us with our programs as well as giving new experience to the children.
Or if you have your own project and ideas, let us know! We'd love to hear from you. Email us if you're interested! We do not charge our volunteers fees to volunteer with us.
English Class Volunteer
Come and be a part of our fun English class! You could play, talk and sing with the children for a day, or if you'd like.. a week or more! You could help us conduct the classes and interact with everyone in the class. If you are from outside Indonesia, you could also introduce about your country and culture to the children. There is no time requirement to volunteer in our class, because every single second you spend with these children will help them learn more and more.
Home-stay and day visit
Interested in spending more time in the neighborhood? Following daily activities of the children as well as exploring the town? How about joining our homestay program?
Through the homestay, we offer deep community involvement and personal connections with the children as well as the local families. Volunteers will be able to meet with local families in their homes, teaching and playing with the kids, developing their own lessons and developmental activities. Together, we can also take the kids on field trips as well as learning how the organization is run.
If you are interested write us at rta.sakinahfoundation@gmail.com stating your arrival time and tell us a little more about yourself. We can help you arrange your accomodation as well as trips visiting interesting places in South Tangerang and Jakarta.

Make Your Own Project
Have your own project ideas and would like to implement them in As Sakinah? Or would like to organise a fundraise for children of As Sakinah? Let us know! We are welcoming every project and creative ideas! Our children are also interested in meeting new people, and of course making new friends with you! Write us the details of your project via email or you can come by to our office in South Tangerang and tell us all about it! See you then :)
