A little bit about Murni

She is a quiet, but she is very well respected by the girls around her. Being one of the oldest girls, she was trusted to help Dissa teach Saman for this year Maulid Nabi event, in which she was also an MC. Murni’s commitment to her role was proven on that event as she did a great job hosting the event, as well as performing as a dancer.

She wants to be an entrepreneur, and is currently creating business proposal to open a small eatery in Bambu Apus with her mother. The proposal will be submitted to RTA Biz, a microfinance branch of As Sakinah that focuses on entrepreneurship and business innovation.

What do you want to do when you grow up?

Be an entrepreneur as well as an Islamic teacher.

What is your favorite subject at school and why?

All subjects with calculations, maths and formulas.

What is your hobby?

Reading and sharing articles in Twitter and Facebook

What is your motto in life?

“Never underestimate a good deed, even if it is just as small as a smile”

What is your most memorable moment in As Sakinah?

My most memorable moment in As Sakinah is when I was assigned to be the MC in this year Maulid Nabi event. I learned a lot about public speaking. As I was also a member of Saman dance team, and there was no time to get change, I had to wear my dance costume for the whole time I was being an MC, hahaha.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Firstly is to go to Japan. I do not know why, but I really want to go to Japan. Maybe because I want to learn the way they treat people with respect and their discipline as well.

Secondly is to Egypt, because I would like to have some friends from there and learn more about their culture. Lastly is to go to China, because I want to learn their spirit to success and hard work which hopefully will help me to be a good entrepreneur.
